Faux paper tearing

For stamp club this month, my customers learned some "faux" techniques. Today's card is an example of faux paper tearing. To start, we stamped the sentiment on a piece of copy paper. Then you tear around the sentiment and use that piece as a mask. Use some temporary adhesive to attach it to your cardstock. We used a sponge and ink to distress the cardstock and then stamped leaf images. When you remove the mask, you're left with what looks like
custom-made designer series paper that's torn. Finally, stamp the sentiment again and finish the card. How easy is that?!

I'll have another "faux" technique tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

Great card! I love that it looks like you just tore the paper to reveal the sentiment.
