For stamp club this month, my customers learned some "faux" techniques. Today's card is an example of faux paper tearing. To start, we stamped the sentiment on a piece of copy paper. Then you tear around the sentiment and use that piece as a mask. Use some temporary adhesive to attach it to your cardstock. We used a sponge and ink to distress the cardstock and then stamped leaf images. When you remove the mask, you're left with what looks like custom-made designer series paper that's torn. Finally, stamp the sentiment again and finish the card. How easy is that?!
I'll have another "faux" technique tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
