Flower Power

I did manage to sneak in a little creative time today and created two cards in a short amount of time by using the Flower Power Simply Sent Card Elements Kit (seen here). The first card uses only supplies provided in the kit. I am lovin' the designer series paper in this kit!! Just a little bit of layering of the die cuts, add some ribbon and a brad and DONE!
This second card started with the textured cardstock from the kit and some of the die cuts. But then I added some poly-twill ribbon, leaves made from the 1" circle punch, and some embossing.

card #1
Stamps: none
Cardstock: Rose Red
Ink: none
Accessories: Flower Power Simply Sent kit

card #2
Stamps: Warm Words
Cardstock: Perfect Plum, Old Olive
Ink: White Craft ink
Accessories: white embossing powder, large oval punch, 1" circle punch, stampin' dimensionals, Old Olive poly-twill ribbon, corner rounder

LOVE the cards!!! The color combos are awesome! I forgot about making leaves with the circle punch - going to have to do some of that this weekend...hopefully! Can't wait to see the new catalog!
