Gearing up for Christmas

I just adore all the fabulous designer series papers from Stampin' Up! - both in the Fall-Winter catalog and the Holiday Mini catalog! Recently, I saw a cute idea, splitting the Top Note die between cardstock and designer series paper and just HAD to give it a whirl. I added a felt snowflake and some bling and I just love how it all came together with such little effort! It's a bit bulky with the rhinestone brad so I'm not sure it's a design I would use for cards I'm going to mail, but it's wonderful for those I'll be hand-delivering. Hope you like it!!

This is really cute, and again, another card using the Top Note!! Darn it, I think I will need to get the Big Shot after all.

Great colors. I really need to get a big shot and this die. I've seen some really great things with it! Your snowflake is just perfect!

That is a great technique! I love the red circle behind the snowflake; it really makes it pop!

Really nice card! I've never been a fan of the felt fusion embellishments, but I think you just converted me!! Love the snowflake in the felt, the dimenion of it is lovely, and it just pops with the red circle behind it. The top note diecut is so rich looking, I'm going to have to give in & order it! Classy with the dsp on the bottom half!
A very, very "together" card!
